Totally real this time

Alright, so after 3 rewrites, a coffee shortage, and one particularly buggy AI companion, the new build is live.

đŸ§± What’s New

  • Inventory System Overhaul The old UI was a mess. Now it’s cleaner, faster, and doesn’t crash when you pick up 200 carrots. Probably.
  • Quest System Foundations Not fully implemented yet, but NPCs can now actually remember who you are. Kinda creepy.
  • Environment Polish Added new lighting passes, weather tweaks, and a mysterious cave no one should enter
 yet.

🐛 Known Issues

  • NPCs sometimes float into the sky when startled. We call it ascension, and it’s totally a feature. For now.
  • Inventory tooltips flicker if you move the mouse faster than the speed of light.
  • The cave door whispers at night. This is not a bug. Probably.

đŸ§Ș Next Up

  • Dialogue system rewrite (again).
  • More polish to the combat animations.
  • Possibly a fishing minigame if I lose focus.
